Why We Built This Tool
As a passionate follower of track and field athletics, I've always been fascinated by the challenge of comparing performances across different disciplines. How do you fairly compare a sprinter's 100m time with a thrower's shot put distance? The World Athletics Scoring Tables provide the answer, but accessing and calculating these scores quickly was always frustrating.
Most existing tools were either outdated, difficult to use, or hidden behind paywalls. Athletes, coaches, and fans deserved better - a modern, user-friendly calculator that works instantly on any device, uses the latest 2025 official tables, and is completely free to use.

Who Am I?
My name is David Ballester, I'm a web developer and athlete, and I live in Barcelona, Spain. I've been following athletics competitions for years, where scoring tables are essential for measuring an athlete's level.
This project combines my passion for athletics with my web development skills. I wanted to create a tool that I would personally use - something clean, fast, and reliable that respects the user's time and data.
